At 2026 NBAA-BACE, YoPro ‘Helpy Hour’ Pairs Networking With a Cause: Supporting Cancer Patients Seeking Treatment

Supporting worthy philanthropic causes is a key mission of the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA’s) Young Professionals in Business Aviation Council (YoPro), which this year is donating its time and talent to support Corporate Angel Network (CAN) during a “Helpy Hour” at the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

The reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall Terrace. There, attendees can help assemble aviation-themed teddy bear kits for donation to Corporate Angel Network (CAN), a nonprofit organization that helps cancer patients access treatment by arranging free travel on business aircraft.

This year’s reception is sponsored by Flight Bridge and Vertical Aviation International.

“We’re so grateful to the YoPro Council for choosing CAN, and to all the NBAA-BACE attendees who will help assemble these teddy bear kits,” said Courtney Easton, vice president of strategy, programs and outreach at CAN. “Our cancer patients are traveling significant distances to access the care they need, and these kits are a thoughtful gesture that reminds them they’re being thought of along the way.”

“One of the best things about this reception is seeing how it has grown beyond a young professional event into a space where all generations and career levels come together,” said NBAA Manager, Professional Development Elayna Hall, who serves as co-staff liaison to the YoPro Council.

“This year’s theme, ‘Leading From Any Seat,’ celebrates the idea that leadership can come from every role, every career stage and every corner of the business aviation community,” said Ashley Granada, NBAA senior marketing manager and YoPro Council co-staff liaison. “This ‘Helpy Hour’ is a perfect example of that leadership in action.”
