Air Charter Expo Regional - Europe to Debut at AERO Friedrichshafen 2027
/The Air Charter Association and Business Air News have formally announced the launch of Air Charter Expo Regional - Europe, which will debut at AERO Friedrichshafen 2027 in Germany. The announcement was made during Air Charter Expo (ACE26) at London Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB) on September 8, a record-breaking event that welcomed over 2,100 visitors from 62 nations and featured a fully booked aircraft static display.

Glenn Hogben, Chief Executive of The Air Charter Association, stated, “We are delighted to be debuting our first Air Charter Expo Regional - Europe at AERO 2027 in Germany with a dedicated two and a half days of networking and educational workshops for the air charter community. This is a great opportunity for our growing, global membership.”

The ACE show, originally launched at Cambridge Airport (EGSC) as The Business and General Aviation Day (BGAD), has grown significantly since relocating to London Biggin Hill in 2015, adopting its current name. Brad Wright, ACE Show Sales Manager at Business Air News, described the partnership with AERO Friedrichshafen as a “natural, complementary fit for business aviation.”

Dedicated Spaces and Exhibitor Highlights
Visitors to ACE Regional - Europe will enjoy exclusive access to Hall A1 and The Dome, featuring a superior conference stage modeled after the one offered at ACE.
AERO Friedrichshafen 2027 is set to surpass 300 exhibitors, including major business aviation and helicopter OEMs such as Dassault Aviation, Bombardier, and Robinson Helicopters. Tobias Bretzel revealed that ACE26 recently surpassed 306 exhibitors and anticipates 50 to 70 business aircraft on display at AERO 2027.
“We are on our way to registering a total of 900 exhibitors with a range of space options available,” Bretzel added.
He emphasized that the collaboration with The Air Charter Association and other partners will not detract from the show’s general aviation legacy. “For example, we are celebrating the return of the glider community this year in Hall B5,” he noted.
AERO Friedrichshafen will continue as a four-day event, concluding on April 17, 2027.
Regular Updates and Exhibitor Opportunities
AERO Friedrichshafen will provide regular updates to the media on the progress of the show, including exhibitor spotlights, conference themes, and highlights. These updates will be managed by its new communications partner, Emerald Media, alongside Volker Thomalla, Head of Communication Aerospace Portfolio, and an expanded AERO marketing team.
