In 2024, Nice will mark a historic first as the host city for the conclusion of the Tour de France, a departure from the traditional Parisian finish. This remarkable change has been prompted by the near-simultaneous scheduling of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The final stages promise an exhilarating finish to the race, starting with a mountain stage on July 20th that reintroduces the peloton to the challenging climbs of the Nice backcountry. The following day, July 21st, will feature a decisive 35-kilometer individual time trial from Monaco to Nice, culminating at the iconic Place Masséna.
