SC Aviation Breaks Ground on New Hangar at Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport

SC Aviation, Inc. has announced the groundbreaking of a new 30,000-square-foot hangar facility at Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport (KJVL). This $3.5 million investment marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth as it celebrates its 80th anniversary in private aviation.

The new hangar represents the next phase of SC Aviation’s expansion, increasing its capacity to support aircraft management, charter operations, maintenance services, future fleet growth, and the rising demand for hangar space at Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport. This development follows a period of sustained growth for the company, which has included fleet additions, service enhancements, and strategic expansion throughout the region.

Designed to accommodate large aircraft such as the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 8000, the state-of-the-art facility will provide additional space for aircraft storage, maintenance activities, and enhanced customer services.

The project is driven by strong demand for aircraft storage and support services at KJVL. SC Aviation currently maintains a waiting list of aircraft owners seeking hangar space, highlighting the need for additional capacity and the continued growth of business aviation in the region, including Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison.

“SC Aviation’s groundbreaking represents both a celebration of our history and an investment in our future,” said Adam Singer, Vice President of SC Aviation. “For 80 years, our customers have trusted us to deliver exceptional service, safety, and operational excellence. This new hangar ensures we have the infrastructure to support our continued growth, better serve aircraft owners and charter clients, and create opportunities for our team for decades to come. We’re proud to continue investing in Southern Wisconsin and building on the legacy that has defined SC Aviation.”

The groundbreaking ceremony brought together employees, community leaders, and aviation industry stakeholders to honor the company’s legacy and its vision for the future. Construction of the new facility is expected to be completed by March 2027.
