PrivatPort Advances to Next Phase of Global Hybrid FBO Expansion and Centralized Aviation Operations Model

PrivatPort has announced the next phase of its strategic evolution, transitioning into a fully integrated hybrid Fixed Base Operator (FBO) platform. This transformation is supported by a centralized 24/7 Operations Control Center (OCC) in Dubai and a global footprint spanning more than 70 ground locations across key aviation hubs.

Building on the legacy of Swiss Executive Aviation, PrivatPort is expanding into a fully integrated global hybrid FBO and end-to-end customer experience platform. The company is evolving from a traditional aviation services structure into a unified operating platform that directly orchestrates the private aviation journey from request to execution. By combining physical FBO infrastructure with centralized operational control, PrivatPort integrates service delivery and coordination into a single accountable system.

This transformation positions PrivatPort as the direct owner of the customer experience, moving beyond conventional trip support models toward a fully integrated operational ecosystem. From the initial request to the final destination, the company assumes end-to-end responsibility for execution, coordination, and service continuity.

Hybrid FBO Network Model

PrivatPort operates a dual-layer FBO network consisting of nine dedicated flagship locations integrated with Swissport’s global ground handling footprint of more than 70 stations worldwide.

Flagship PrivatPort FBOs include key aviation gateways such as Geneva (ICAO: LSGG), Morocco (e.g., Marrakech Menara Airport, ICAO: GMMX), New Zealand (e.g., Auckland International Airport, ICAO: NZAA), and Mexico (e.g., Mexico City International Airport, ICAO: MMMX), with several locations coming online in the weeks ahead. These locations provide dedicated passenger and crew handling environments, while the broader Swissport network ensures consistent global coverage and operational scalability.

This structure combines locally controlled FBO operations at strategic locations with standardized global ground support across an established international network.

Operations Control Center (OCC) – Dubai

All network activity is coordinated through PrivatPort’s 24/7 Operations Control Center in Dubai (ICAO: OMDB), which serves as the central coordination point for operators, brokers, and flight support teams.

The OCC integrates flight coordination, ground handling oversight, passenger services, and client-specific requirements into a single operational environment, providing real-time visibility and execution control across all stations. Requests are managed end-to-end through the OCC, which allocates resources, coordinates station activity, and oversees mission completion across the network.

Operating Model

PrivatPort functions as the end service provider within its network, rather than a coordination or brokerage layer. Services are delivered directly through its integrated FBO operations and Swissport ground infrastructure, supported by centralized operational oversight. This structure is designed to reduce fragmentation across providers and establish a single point of accountability for mission execution.

Service Framework

PrivatPort’s positioning rests on two layers working in concert. At the front end, white-glove FBO service—private lounges, discretion, and hospitality tailored to each guest—reflects the boutique, personal standard that ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) travelers expect. Behind it, the OCC provides the invisible operational intelligence—real-time coordination, proactive handling, and contingency planning—that ensures the experience remains calm and unhurried, regardless of what is happening on the ramp.
