Jet Aviation Delivers Quietest and Lightest VVIP Completion to Date

Following over eight years of research and development in optimizing sound and weight in VVIP interiors, Jet Aviation recently delivered its quietest and lightest VVIP narrow-body interior to date. This follows the delivery of the completion center’s quietest wide-body aircraft in late 2021.

The cabin also featured three certified 55-inch curved OLED screens, integrated on either side above the window line, following the curvature of the ceilings. This integration reduces the cabinetry required to house the screens, further reducing the weight of the cabin and maximizing interior floor space

In order to certify the screens in-house and install them in line with aviation requirements, Jet Aviation worked with an electronics partner on a series of qualification analyses and tests to meet temperature, vibration, weight, sound, electromagnetism, flammability, and stress aviation standards.

The completion center is now able to install these curved screens in both completion and refurbishment projects.

Jet Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) with some 4,000 employees and 50 locations worldwide. Jet Aviation’s offerings include aircraft management, aircraft sales, charter, completions, defense, FBO, maintenance and staffing.
