International Operators: NBAA’s Member-Only GA Customs Resource Now Updates in Near-Real Time
/In conjunction with the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA’s) highly successful 2026 International Operators Conference (IOC2026), the association unveiled an updated version of a highly valued member-only online resource, especially among companies operating international missions requiring Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services.
The NBAA GA Airport Fact Sheet resource, an authoritative information clearinghouse designed to support international travel planning and customs compliance, has been enhanced so that its information is now updated in near-real time.
The resource, which compiles information from hundreds of airport fact sheets produced by CBP, is now automatically refreshed almost immediately whenever new or updated details are received from the agency regarding ever-changing customs requirements and procedures.
“The particulars about customs services vary from one airport to another, with no two ports of entry alike,” said Doug Carr, NBAA’s senior vice president of safety, security, sustainability and international affairs. “This members-only resource – which is sortable by airport name, ICAO code, state and update timestamp – is now even more valuable, providing the latest information as soon as NBAA receives it from CBP. Members can quickly compare available services at different airports and make informed decisions about their international planning.”
Information available through the resource includes:
Hours of service at CBP facilities for entrance and clearance
Permission-to-land procedures
Inspection processes
Contact information for CBP officers and airport staff
Special procedures for a specific airport
NBAA’s resource helps members efficiently research and plan international flights, choose the best port of entry and follow airport customs procedures to avoid delays and operate smoothly, creating a seamless travel experience for passengers and crew.
“We are pleased to offer this resource with the most up-to-date information published on GA customs facilities,” Carr noted. “These new, real-time updates further reinforce NBAA’s commitment to delivering timely, actionable information that supports all business aircraft operations, including those with an international profile.”
