FCG OPS Expands African Presence with Acquisition of Astra Aviation

FCG OPS, a global provider of handling and OCC services, has announced the acquisition of the business of Astra Aviation, a well-established ground services company with an extensive presence across Africa. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in FCG OPS's expansion plans, enhancing its service footprint in Sub-Saharan Africa by enabling the delivery of high-quality ground handling and trip support services.

Founded in 2005, Astra Aviation has over two decades of operational experience in Africa. The company is widely recognized for its deep local knowledge, industry-leading standards, and trusted partnerships within the region's aviation sector. With a singular focus on the African market, Astra Aviation has become a preferred partner for international carriers navigating the region's unique operational environment.
