Drone Discovery in Dallas and Dubai
/Drones were the topic at the Aviation Business Conference in Dallas, TX, last month, as well as a performer at the grand Dubai Airshow at the same time. On the second day of the Dubai Airshow 2025, thousands of attendees were treated to a breathtaking and surreal debut drone show as part of the new “Airshow After Dark” event.

With the venue open until 9 PM each day, hundreds of illuminated drones danced across the night sky, forming intricate images of historic and modern aircraft, Dubai’s iconic skyline, satellites, and futuristic aviation motifs. The mesmerizing performance capped a day of high-profile flying displays and networking, underscoring the UAE’s drive for innovation in aerospace. Organizers described it as a perfect blend of technology and entertainment at one of the world’s premier aviation events.

The following night, DSV Fairs & Events hosted a golf tournament at the iconic Emirates Golf Club - Faldo Course. The Emirates Golf Club hosts major tournaments such as the Dubai Desert Classic, the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and the Dubai Ladies Masters. It was the first all-grass championship golf course in the Middle East when it opened in 1988. Taking pride in its 36 holes of world-class golf, the club sports two of the city’s finest must-play courses, the Majlis and the Faldo Course, which is also the only 18-hole course in the region to offer night golf. Both courses feature the natural rolling desert terrain for a serious golfing test, while the signature clubhouse remains the most eye-catching in the region. The exclusive event during the Dubai Airshow brought together exhibitors for a relaxed day of competition, connection, and conversation on the greens. Whether you participated to showcase your swing or strengthen business relationships, the tournament was the perfect balance of sport, networking, and fun - all against the stunning backdrop of the real Dubai skyline.
