DIMOR Group Announces Closure of U.S. Aircraft Manufacturing Operations in Battle Creek, Michigan

The DIMOR Group, in conjunction with WACO Classic Aircraft and Centennial Aircraft Services, has made the difficult decision to cease its manufacturing operations and aircraft maintenance services based in Battle Creek, Michigan. The Centennial Fixed Base Operator (FBO) will remain operational, as will San Francisco Latin American Cuisine.

This decision was reached after careful deliberation. Rising production costs, coupled with ongoing limitations in market demand, rendered continued U.S. production unsustainable. Consequently, approximately 60 positions will be affected by the cessation of manufacturing operations in Battle Creek.

Production of the JUNKERS A50 Junior, A50 Heritage, and A60 aircraft will continue through the DIMOR Group’s sister entity in Oberndorf, Germany, where these aircraft will be manufactured and marketed worldwide.

The DIMOR Group and WACO Aircraft extend their sincerest gratitude to our dedicated employees in Battle Creek. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have been integral to the success of our aircraft and operations. We are deeply appreciative of the City of Battle Creek, the Battle Creek Executive Airport, and the surrounding community for their longstanding support, partnership, and collaboration. This location has played a significant role in our company’s history, and we highly value the relationships cultivated over many years.
