Cleveland Rocked - Explore With Us at Aero Friedrichshafen
/ACG Cover with Margaret Thatcher
March was a really busy month for our crew! First up, our Ian Sheppard, Senior Researcher AC-U-KWIK at Aviation Week by Informa attended the annual Air Charter Association (ACA) Spring Lunch at the magnificent Guildhall in London. He was happy to present a one-year AC-U-KWIK Premium subscription, donated by The Air Charter Guide, to Samanda Omanovic, a Malta-based flight manager IW Aviation. Amanda was over the moon to receive, in her own words, this “incredibly useful” subscription.
Fast forwarding to Cleveland, Ohio where we exhibited at the extremely busy and record-breaking SDC2026 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference with over 3500 attendees, 440 exhibitors from all 50 US states and from 55 countries around the world. Thank you once again, NBAA, for hosting such a wonderful event!

Michele Meeting the MJets Team from Thailand
Special shoutouts to the team from Mjets visiting from Thailand, the team from Fastransit visiting from China, the team from Sundtair visiting from Norway, the team from Nexus Jet visiting from South Korea, the team from ICCS from Mexico (see our featured spotlight!) and of course the many other customers and friends we met throughout the week joining us to renew our commitment to “everything aviation”. Some of you got to make some very special memories in our photo booth going back to the 80s. Hopefully, you had as much fun boomeranging back in time as we did! The winner of our raffle prize this year, an 80s-inspired Polaroid camera, is Vinicio Llerena, Executive Director of Victoria Regional Airport at Victoria Jet Center. Congratulations, Vinicio!

Explore with us next: Aero Friedrichshafen, Germany April 22-25, 2026!
AERO Friedrichshafen has been one of the leading global trade shows for general aviation, held annually in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The event showcases innovations in aircraft, avionics, and aviation services, attracting industry professionals, pilots, and enthusiasts from around the world and has expanded in recent years to include and focus on more business aviation.
Friedrichshafen is located near Lake Constance (Bodensee), a picturesque region of southern Germany offering stunning views of the Alps as well as a rich cultural heritage. Did you know that it’s the birthplace of the Zeppelin airship? While visiting, consider a stop at the Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen, which houses the largest collection on airship travel in the world, and chronicles the history of the Zeppelin airships.
Not far from Friedrichshafen are several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Prehistoric Pile Dwellings Around the Alps, which consist of ancient settlements built on stilts along Lake Constance and other Alpine lakes. These dwellings provide fascinating insights into early human life in the region. Another significant site is the Monastic Island of Reichenau, situated on Lake Constance. This island is home to a Benedictine monastery and features remarkable medieval architecture and frescoes. Of course, if you don’t have to jet back for work like our team, you could also venture out to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, though slightly farther away, and visit some more castles, vineyards, and beautiful German towns.
Hopefully, you are flying in style and can enjoy safe travel like former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher getting the VIP treatment on a Falcon 20 operated by DB Aviation as featured on this old blast-from-the-past cover of The Air Charter Guide from 1993. Back in the day, DB Aviation at Waukegan National Airport in the Chicago metro area also ferried former Soviet Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev and then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton. One wonders if all three ever crossed paths at the same time.
Peace for sure is on our minds!
