1) Charter travelers' tips and know-how: How do you guide a customer through the process?
At Executive Fliteways, we take a concierge-style approach to private jet travel, making the entire process seamless and stress-free from the very first conversation. Whether a client is traveling for business or leisure, we walk them through every step: selecting the right aircraft, planning the schedule, coordinating catering, arranging ground transportation, and accommodating any special requests. Our charter team is available 24/7 to ensure every detail is handled with care. First-time flyers are often surprised by how personalized and effortless the experience can be.
2) How would you describe your fleet or flagship aircraft?
Our fleet offers a versatile mix of turboprops, light, mid-size, super midsize, and heavy jets, including Gulfstreams, Falcons, and Legacys, providing clients with a range of options tailored to their travel needs. Recent additions like the PC-12, Challenger 350, and Challenger 604 reflect our commitment to continuous fleet enhancement. Many aircraft have also been recently upgraded with Starlink Wi-Fi, a passenger favorite for its high-speed, reliable connectivity. Every jet in our fleet is meticulously maintained and outfitted with premium amenities to ensure a refined, reliable, and comfortable experience on every flight.
3) What does the future look like for your company?
We're focused on intentional expansion as we grow both our company and fleet, all while maintaining a commitment to safety and excellence. This includes increasing our managed aircraft portfolio, strengthening our charter presence in key markets, and continually elevating our standards of service and client experience. While our primary operations in New York continue to thrive, we're also strategically expanding our off-base fleet in high-demand regions such as Florida, with dedicated hangar space to support each aircraft and client need.
4) How did you get into aviation?
Our President, James Prinzivalli, took a bold step during the COVID-19 pandemic by acquiring Executive Fliteways at a time when the industry faced extreme uncertainty. With 27 years of prior experience in dispatch, a strong background in business, and a genuine passion for aviation, he recognized the long-term value of private travel. His vision and willingness to take risks have reshaped EFI into a company known for reliability, exceptional client care, and operational excellence. Our fleet has since grown from 4 to 28 aircraft under his leadership.
5) What is your most popular itinerary/event/destination?
Our most popular itineraries are often those that offer access to the most exclusive and remote destinations, places the masses simply can't reach with ease. South Florida and Europe also remain top destinations, especially during the winter months, with flights between New York and the Palm Beach area in constant demand. We also see a surge in charter activity surrounding major events such as Art Basel, the Masters, the Super Bowl, the Monaco Grand Prix, and the Cannes Film Festival. During the summer, weekend escapes to the Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard, Newport, and Nantucket are especially popular among our clientele.
6) Do you specialize in ambulance or cargo?
Our focus is on executive and leisure passenger charter. While we don't specialize in medical or cargo missions, our operational flexibility and network allow us to assist with unique or urgent transport needs when appropriate.
7) Fun stories or narrative to share:
We've had our fair share of unforgettable moments in the air and on the ground. One client recently flew to Alaska on a mission to spot a polar bear, then chartered to Patagonia for a fly-fishing escape that was as remote as it was breathtaking. We've helped clients chase yachts along the Mediterranean, helicopter over glaciers in Iceland to catch the Northern Lights and escape to secluded islands most people have never heard of.
One especially memorable trip involved flying a couple to a private island for a surprise engagement, complete with a professional photographer, a rack of designer clothing, and champagne toast waiting on the tarmac. On another occasion, we pulled off a last-minute seafood tower served in-flight just before touchdown.
It's those kinds of personal touches that set us apart. After 44 years in business, we've built trusted relationships and curated networks that make the extraordinary happen.
8) What is a memorable event you've taken passengers to in the past?
The Super Bowl is always a standout. We've transported groups of friends, families, celebrities, and corporate VIPs to and from the big game. Our dispatch team works around the clock during this event, coordinating everything from security and ground transportation to catering, last-minute itinerary changes, and VIP accommodations. We thrive on managing high-energy, high-profile events with discretion and precision.
