The company is searching for a new CEO. Plumb will remain CEO during a leadership transition expected to last between 30 and 60 days. CFO John Owen will serve as interim president.

Plumb has been president and CEO since January 2014. Before assuming that role, he was president and COO for seven years, which followed a stint as EVP/COO.

“It has been a privilege and an honor to work with such a great group of energetic employees, exceptional customers and committed investors,” Plumb said in a news release. “The majority of my career has been building Executive AirShare with Bob Taylor, and it is amazing where the business is today since starting as a Wichita-based company in 2000 with only two aircraft.”

Based in the Kansas City area, Executive AirShare now provides day-based fractional aircraft ownership, a two-year fractional lease program and a private aircraft membership program based in the Kansas City area; Wichita, Kan.; Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla.; five major cities in Texas; and Buffalo, N.Y.

Its Executive Flight Services subsidiary offers charter services and aircraft management out of Fort Worth, Texas; Dallas; Wichita; Kansas City; and Buffalo.
