/Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Duty Flight Dispatcher with operational duties as assigned.
- Ensuring that flights are safely and efficiently planned, cleared and monitored in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Maintaining and validating airport reference information and liaising with airport services.
- Participating in Airfield and Route Hazard Identification, and Security Risk Assessments.
- Ensuring Airspace security restrictions and OIs are adhered to.
- Ensuring ETOPS flight planning and watch requirements are met when necessary.
- Ensuring the Standard Commander‘s briefs and Manifests are complete, correct and issued in agreed time scales
- When requested, provide the PIC with a thorough flight crew briefing, covering all significant information, which may affect his flight.
- Transmitting to Air Traffic Control directly or through an EJME approved handling agent in the country of operation, all ICAO Flight Plan requirements.
- Obtaining curfew breaks from local airport authorities during irregular operations.
- Providing a fuel summary, or if able, flight plans and flight watch for both test and training flights.
- Perform same duties as Flight Dispatcher Coordinator when necessary.
- Flight watch.
- Processing of operational documentation, post flight docs and updates as necessary.
- Ensuring positive and proactive customer service is maintained at all times.
- Technical support for Charter quote requests.
- Sending flight confirmations and activity reports.
- Keeping current with relevant airspace procedures and requirements.
- Participate in service and safety case reviews and investigations and corrective actions.
- Fostering a positive and Just Safety culture.
- Maintaining your Dispatch license and currency.
