Job Purpose

To ensure seamless operations by having well trained staff who have access to all relevant information and resources to be well informed and deliver a supreme service within Fixed Base Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration & control functions are carried out effectively (Overseeing Flight Administrators, organizing shift roster and standby duties, overseeing service providers, updating price lists)
  • Manage human resources of department
  • Effective and efficient customer service to all clients continued contact with service providers, build network opportunities, negotiate competitive agreements with suppliers)
  • Manage financial responsibilities of department
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of all the relevant sections to ensure that the aircraft and flight crew are ready to depart at the published scheduled time
  • Ensure that flight preparation is done effectively
  • Overseeing aircraft cleaning and dispatcher department
  • Ensure safety & quality assurance
  • Assisting with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

The Purchasing Administrator will efficiently manage the procurement, processing, and inventory of supplies needed for the efficient operation of the Meridian Companies. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to show initiative, work independently, pay close attention to detail, and be able to perform each of these essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.  This position is not involved with the purchasing and management of aircraft parts.
