Airbus Corporate Jets has launched a private jet version of its new A330neo, which combines new-generation engines and aerodynamic and other improvements to deliver even more comfort, efficiency and true “nonstop to the world” range. Called the ACJ330neo, it will fly 25 passengers 9,400 nm/17,400 km or 20 hours, enough to fly nonstop from Europe to Australia.

DC Aviation, one of Germany’s largest business jet operators and one of the leading operators in Europe, was again recognized for its excellent safety performance. At this year’s EBACE, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) honored DC Aviation with the 2017 Diamond Safety of Flight Award for surpassing 100,000 hours of safe flying. DC Aviation is one in a small group of operators ever to receive this award.

AMAC Aerospace is pleased to announce that a completion contract for a VVIP completion of an Airbus ACJ320neo has been awarded by Acropolis Aviation, to AMAC’s headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.

This will be the first Airbus A320neo delivered by Airbus Corporate Jets for VVIP configuration. The launch customer for the ACJ320neo, Acropolis Aviation, is enhancing its bespoke aviation services with the addition of this VVIP aircraft. Building on the success of its existing Airbus ACJ319, the ACJ320neo will provide additional range via new high-efficiency engines and the addition of drag-reducing sharklets.

Satcom Direct (SD), the business aviation connectivity solutions provider, announces at EBACE that it has signed a new exclusive provider agreement with Air Alsie, the Denmark-headquartered aircraft charter, ambulance operator and management company. The agreement marks the first time that SD and Air Alsie have partnered, and will position SD as a single source supplying a range of connectivity services across the Air Alsie fleet.

The all-new Gulfstream G500 made its first voyage to the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) this week. The aircraft will be featured at Gulfstream’s static display alongside the record-setting Gulfstream G280, the stalwart Gulfstream G550 and the unparalleled Gulfstream G650ER with four living areas.

TAG Aviation has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to safety with renewed accreditation to the Wyvern Wingman program for its operations in Switzerland as part of an award ceremony at EBACE this year. The UK-based operating Centre also renewed its accreditation to the Wyvern Wingman safety program last summer.

TAG Aviation’s Farnborough Maintenance Services (TFMS) has been approved to become the first UK-based Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centre to support BR710 engines installed on Bombardier Global Express* aircraft.

TFMS recently successfully completed a second 120-Month Inspection on a Global Express and this approval is a logical addition to its already extensive suite of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) dealerships and Authorised Service Centre approvals. It is part of TFMS’ strategy to become the leading ‘one stop shop’ Line and Base Maintenance provider for Dassault and Bombardier aircraft in the greater London area.

Comlux announced that Comlux Completion, it’s Completion and Services center based in Indianapolis IN, has delivered the first custom VIP Cabin EASA-certified SBJ.

The VIP aircraft, owned by Kazakhmys PLC Corporation in Kazakhstan, features 19 certified seats for Taxi-Take-off & Landing in a contemporary corporate interior designed and engineered by Comlux. It includes a VIP area at the front with a club-4 seating across from a side-facing sofa and an executive section with 15 First class seats in a 2 x1, 3-abreast configuration. 

Deer Jet, a leading global business aviation company, has announced plans to introduce a second Boeing 787 Dream Jet to its fleet, which will make it the world’s largest operator of the type.

Elit'Avia, a fully-integrated provider of business aircraft charter, management and operation services, has announced that it has been awarded an aircraft operator certificate (AOC) from the Republic of San Marino Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).  As a microstate within Italy, San Marino is unique in several respects. Its CAA is governed by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced the first fully outfitted Gulfstream G500 test aircraft made its European debut by setting a city-pair record from Savannah to Paris. The aircraft flew between the two cities in 7 hours and 40 minutes, covering the 3,788-nautical-mile/7,015-kilometer distance at an average speed of Mach 0.90.

TAG Farnborough Airport is a growing business aviation airport and has noted a 3.2% increase in air traffic movements (ATMs) in the first four months of 2017. The airport is also increasingly receiving airliner-derived aircraft (50-80 tons maximum take-off weight) such as Boeing Business Jets and Airbus Corporate Jets, with some carrying large groups of passengers. In 2016, the airport saw a 5.5% rise in ATMs in this aircraft category.

TAG Aviation Europe has announced that it has made the decision to exit the Spanish market as part of a broader move to consolidate its aircraft operations under a limited number of strategic AOC’s (Air Operator Certificate) which provide greater advantages to its customers.
