Pentastar Aviation has been issued Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST04188CH for certification of compatibility of wireless data technologies on Gulfstream Aerospace GIV-X (G350/G450) series aircraft. Award of this STC allows operators to approve the use of Transmitting Portable Electronic Devices (TPED) onboard aircraft with wireless networks or Wi-Fi hot spots for their passengers.
